Our history

374 years of history in Sicily, between Linguaglossa, Catania and Messina. The Previtera family is originally from Acireale and arrives in Linguaglossa at the end of the 1500s, as administrators of the princes of Spadafora. Gaetano Previtera, lawyer and Magdalena Mangani Gualtieri from Randazzo, produce silk and make the first fabrics with Etna silkworms. Carmelo Previtera , judge of Linguaglossa and Gaetana Reganati, of ancient Spanish origins, began to decorate the interior of the Palace together with their nephews Giovanni Previtera , bishop of Patti and Rosina Previtera.
